On June 23rd, we packed our belongings (well, technically the movers did that for us) and said goodbye to San Francisco. On July 1st, Jesse started a job as a professor in the department of psychology at UCLA so we are relocating. After nine years in San Francisco, we are really sad to go. We have many dear friends and colleagues (Anita is leaving Women's Community Clinic, where she has worked for nearly the whole time we have lived in SF) we are leaving behind, but we are optimistic that Los Angeles will be a great place for us!

| We stopped part way on our drive down to LA to stay in Paso Robles. Unfortunately Papi was working and Uncle Jacob was in Texas, but we got to see Nana, Uncle Charles and Uncle Sam. Here is Uncle Charles with Joaquin and dog Harley. |
