Mateo is quite interested in cooking these days. He loves to make pancakes on the weekends with Jesse (while Anita sleeps in a little bit) and loves pulling various ingredients out of the fridge for his own concoctions. Here are some photos of the little chef in action:

Here is Mateo posing with the pizza that he made! We made the dough together and he added the sauce and toppings himself. You can see some remnants on his face.

Mateo is quite fond of his toolset, and loves to carry the whole gang around (see the pockets). Last night he insisted that all of the tools come to bed with him.
