For many months now Mateo has been reading, spelling and typing out words on the computer. But it seemed that his fine motor skills weren't developed enough for writing yet. But the other day he surprised us by whipping out his new skill of writing letters! If you examine the writing samples below (which look like word scrambles-- I guess he is still working on "order"), you can make out all of the letters for "MATEO" and "FLAMINGO" (note: he spelled them entirely by himself).
