Big Boy Joaquin

Here are some recent shots of Joaquin. He is now 7 weeks old, and really beginning to be interactive. Although he sleeps a lot, when he is awake he smiles, coos and is very interested in his surroundings. We think we know why he sleeps so much: he is tired from packing on the pounds. Earlier this week he weighed in at 13.5 pounds at his check-up. That's almost a pound a week since birth!
