First Sentence

Although Mateo has quite a few single words in his vocabulary, we had yet to hear anything in combo. If you count a sentence as noun+action word, then Mateo officially has said his first (recognizable) one. A few days ago we were over at someone's house and he wanted to get into the kitchen chair, so he said "Baby Up." I guess because it worked so successfully, he's been using it quite a lot since then.

Other notable language milestones: He now says "Challah" and "Turtle." Our favorite at the moment is his word for "Zebra" pronounced something like Ee-abra-ra-ra-ra. Where did all of those extra syllables come from?
